SPRINGFIELD — Lincoln Land Community College will honor veterans at its 26th annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Thursday, Nov. 11. The ceremony begins at 12:30 p.m. in A. Lincoln Commons on the ÂÌñÉç-Springfield campus, 5250 Shepherd Road, and a reception will follow. The public is invited to attend.
The program includes Ken Elmore, ÂÌñÉç Board of Trustees Chair, serving as master of ceremonies; Darian Hayes, ÂÌñÉç truck driver training student and Private First Class, U.S. Army Reserve, providing remarks; and ÂÌñÉç music student Jack Barham singing the national anthem.
The Veterans Day Ceremony is sponsored by ÂÌñÉç Student Life and honors all veterans including ÂÌñÉç faculty, staff and students who served in the armed forces.
